Job Title: Document Imagining Technician - 1 Year Temp Position - RQ 25-23

TAQA North is currently searching for a Document Imaging Technician to join the IT/Finance team. You will report directly to the Supervisor, Document Management and be responsible for scanning and indexing large document sets within various TAQA North departments. Your efforts will support our Digital Strategy to reduce physical records.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare documents for scanning including document analysis, separation and removing all staples and paper clips.
- Scan documents using Kofax Batch Manager and OnBase
- Provide specific document data in the Indexing phase.
- Upon completion of processing documents complete a quality check to ensure image quality meets standards.
- Maintain scanner quality and functionality (i.e., cleaning lens, reporting mechanical failures.)
- Maintain required levels of scanning output and rates of production.

Your Qualifications:

- High attention to detail, consistency and self-directed motivation
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs. (9 kgs)
- Previous experience with Land files is an asset.
- Previous experience with Kofax Batch Manager and OnBase is an asset.
