**Responsibilities**:
**Program Manager 1**

**THE ROLE**:
**THE PERSON**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Participating in the development of project plans and schedules; must be able to develop and improve processes for project tracking and risk mitigation- Supporting Engineering management in planning of project Human and Computing resource needs- Supporting Engineering management to drive execution excellence, including key metrics like Time-to-Market, R&D Efficiency, and Silicon Quality Indicators- Working collaboratively with the AMD Program Management community to track Key Metrics and help continuous process improvement- Defining and managing key budget and Head Count deliverables/schedules and driving cross functional activities- Managing horizontally across several functional organizations, including Finance and Human Resources- Working hand-in-hand with engineering counterparts across the global sites to plan/align budget, head count, operational efficiencies
- Drives completion of all required deliverables, with a focus on customer quality feedback and established deadlines
- Collect, analyze, organize and publish work performance data via dashboards and recurring status reports
- Strong self-motivator, with a sense of urgency when needed and leadership skills

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:
- Semiconductor industry Project Management experience (Silicon Chip/ASIC ) or a background in design or verification within the semiconductor industry- Agile Project Management and familiarity with industry standard tools including Jira- Good presentation and leadership skills; with ability to lead technical discussions- Strong interpersonal skills- Outstanding written and oral communication skills- Experience in managing complex, interrelated projects, programs, and functions- Team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and an aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
- Flexible working schedule to interact with global program execution team (Asia, India, and North America emphasis)
- PMP certification is a bonus
- Agile** **development or certification is a bonus

**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:

- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is desired
