Fleet Insurance Specialist

Reporting to: Manager, Fleet
**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
As the Road Coordinator at Waypoint, you will play a vital role in coordinating our team of mobile
insurance agents. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our partner dealership clients receive
prompt and efficient service. In addition to responding to dealership service calls, you will coordinate,
book appointments for future insurance service calls, and ensure the seamless operation of our mobile
services. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a fast-paced, dynamic job that requires quick thinking
and a sense of urgency.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Portfolio Management**:
- Manage the existing portfolio of fleet insurance clients, ensuring comprehensive coverage and
timely renewals.
- Actively seek new business opportunities to expand and diversify the fleet insurance portfolio
**Client Engagement**:
- Collaborate with clients to assess their insurance needs, address irregularities, and verify coverage
amounts for accuracy.
- Conduct in-person meetings at various locations, including client sites and dealerships, to build
strong relationships and gather necessary information.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving issues
effectively.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional insurance products to existing
clients.
**Collaboration & Support**:
- Assist other staff members with fleet insurance inquiries, sharing expertise and supporting team
initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive service delivery and contribute to the overall
success of the insurance business.
**Industry Knowledge & Compliance**:
- Maintain a strong understanding of fleet insurance practices, industry trends, and regulatory
requirements to provide informed advice to clients.
- Continuously develop and sustain knowledge of best practices and standards in fleet insurance.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all client interactions and insurance
policies.
- Stay compliant with industry regulations and company policies regarding fleet insurance practices
Additional duties and responsibilities may be added during the course of employment.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing fleet insurance portfolios.
- Hold a Level 1 General Insurance License (Level 2 is considered an asset).
- In-depth knowledge of fleet insurance industry practices, trends, and compliance requirements.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex insurance
concepts to clients.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve collective goals.
