JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Write PostgreSQL or other similar language scripts/statements to analyze and translate customer data into Jonas’ SQL database tables
- Interface directly with the customer to define mapping specifications based on data analysis
- Create, debug, and execute T-SQL scripts and stored procedures that match data mapping specifications
- Perform ETL (extract, transform, load) data imports, exports, and modifications
- Perform quality assurance and database validation on all test and live conversions
- Work on assigned tasks as a member of a project team as required
- Review data and database backups
- Ability to deal with ambiguity. Make decisions based on the information you have, even if that isn't the whole picture.
- Ability to learn on the fly. Quickly and effectively integrates new information and skills to enhance personal performance or the performance of the organization. Learns from successes and failures, regards all experience as an opportunity to learn and improve

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent
- Experience working with MS Access or other SQL-query-based database programs
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and/or PostgreSQL.
- Strong Transact-SQL & MS Data Transformation Services (DTS) knowledge
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team/collaborative environment but to also work independently
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Prior experience in the health and fitness industry would be an asset
- Skills Desired:_
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and Report Builder (SSRS)
- Prior database conversion experience
- Prior data implementation experience
- Prior experience in the health and fitness industry
