**Job Description**: **Job Summary**: **Duties & Responsibilities (are not limited to)**: - In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, assess child and family strengths and needs, including risk identification. - Develop treatment plans and goals with the child and family addressing risk management. - Carry out various treatment components including individual, family and group counseling with parents/caregivers and child. - Implement SNAP therapeutic model guided by CBT framework, and additional modalities as required. - Manage high-risk and aggressive behaviour in accordance with Agency standards. - Follow program guidelines including writing of reports and record keeping. - Provide case management and service coordination as required, and liaise with internal and community resources/partners while acting as an advocate when needed. - Participation in quality assurance, evaluation and research activities. **Qualifications**: - Minimum of a Child & Youth Worker Diploma, or equivalent, is required. - Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in the field of children’s mental health. - Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and engagement skills. - Advance knowledge of group dynamics is required. - Computer literacy and effective report writing abilities. - Working knowledge of evidence informed therapy models and techniques, and the ability to work with families in a culturally sensitive manner. - Familiarity with fundamentals of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Parent Management training, Role Play and Behaviour Management. - Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of an inter-disciplinary team. - Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including a Vulnerable Sector Screening) and Pre-Employment Medical.
