**Product & Market analyst**

You will be responsible for performing the analysis of all data, ensuring the improvement and continuity of the team's strategies. By working with the various departments, you will gather the necessary data to analyze and interpret the information in order to maximize revenues associated with effective inventory analysis and management.

**What your day would look like**:

- Responsible of the purchases and inventory level of all repeat products based on a sales and inventory forecast. Recommend action necessary: promotion, movement of purchase orders, etc.
- Plan distribution of products based on merchandising strategies: reserve for our ECOM business based on sales trend and inventory flow, allocation to stores for all SKUs using regular allocation or pre-allocation;
- Conduct sales and inventory analysis to establish product performance for each market and make recommendations;
- Maintain a close relationship with key partners: buying, planning, sourcing etc;
- Participate in weekly meetings with buyers and planners to define product and market strategy;
- Highlight opportunities for growth within the current product line and similar product categories;
- Identify trends/opportunities and make recommendations at the product level that will ultimately influence assortment plans and support decision;
- Responsible for the coordination of key PMA department tasks.

**What you have to offer**:

- College or university degree in administration or mathematics;
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in the field of inventory management and quantitative data analysis;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel. Power BI an asset.
- Knowledge of retail industry an asset
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Problem-solving and innovative orientation;
- Rigorous and demonstrated ability to produce quality output;
- Organized and methodical;
- Adaptable and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Work well in a team and good communication skills;
- Bilingual English / French both spoken and written;
