**Job Description**:
**As a Financial Analyst**:
Reporting to the Division Controller, the Financial Analyst will work out of our Pointe-Claire plant and use their accounting knowledge and experience to provide reports and analysis to the Manufacturing Finance Leadership Team for the Metal and Vinyl. Primary responsibilities include collecting data, developing ad-hoc and standardized analytics, and providing accurate, timely, and proactive reporting.

- Assist Division and Plant Controllers with day-to-day activities as required as well as month-end close processes, inventory, forecasting, etc.
- Develop and deliver timely and accurate reports and analysis.
- Work with other FAs from different areas of the business on various reporting improvement projects.
- Support strategic relationships across different parts and levels of the business, leveraging core job responsibilities to create business value.

**Regarding your responsibilities**:

- Assist Plant Controller with plant reports, month-end close process, inventory and fixed asset count, account reconciliations, etc.
- Identify and analyze operational results to identify opportunities for improvement and partner with operations to drive improvements.
- Analyze information requests, assess current sources and determine the best (i.e. effective and efficient) means to meet information needs.
- Leverage business process knowledge and data query skills to obtain/validate/analyze data. As needed, present relevant data and findings to management.
- Develop and improve assigned areas of forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting and analysis.

**Qualifications**:
**What you bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, CPA accounting designation preferred
- 3-5 years of successful and progressive career progression in a cost accounting or FP&A role with experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Interest in process improvement
- Bilingualism (French/English), fluency in English required
- Precision, rigor and attention to detail
