- As a Product Specialist at Anton Paar Canada, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for promoting and driving the sales of Anton Paar's innovative scientific instruments and solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of the company's product portfolio, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Provides customers with technical assistance on the proper use of proprietary hardware and software for the following product lines**:Texture analysis and extrusion** (Extrusion and compounding systems, Flour and dough quality instruments),** Rheology**, **Mechanical surface characterization.**(Nanoindentation, Scratch testers).
- Conduct or support installations and customer training.
- Support sales projects from prospecting to after sales support.
- Conducts market and competitive analysis from relevant sources such as marketing reports and research, publications, conferences, trade shows, and product demonstrations.
- Performs product testing as per the provided instruction manual.
- Researches, writes, and presents technical articles, papers and posters.
- Maintains the highest level of knowledge of company products and services.
- Frequently conducts live webinars on software and new product development to current customer base.
- Represents company at trade shows and expositions.
- Up to 10% travel may be required (training, seminars, workshops, installations, customer support).
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Materials, Physics, Life Sciences) or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in sales support, product management, or technical support roles is an asset.
- Bilingualism (English and French).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Have the authorization to work in Canada.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of scientific instruments and laboratory equipment.
- Extrusion knowledge and experience is desired.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and support.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of English is required for this position, as the employee will be supporting English-speaking customers._
