Position overview:
Receptionist & Salon Assistant

This is a dual-role position combining front desk responsibilities with salon support

Part time or full time

Key responsibilities:
Reception Duties:

- Greet clients and pets warmly
- Answer phones and respond to messages promptly and professionally
- Book, confirm, and reschedule appointments using our booking software
- Handle payments and maintain accurate client records
- Provide exceptional customer service at every touchpoint

Salon Assistant Duties:

- Support groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, and prepping pets
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon
- Ensure a safe, positive environment for both pets and staff
- Ordering retail items, shampoo, and other necessary items
- Maintain merchandising in the retail area
- Assist with daily operations in a loud, fast paced setting
- Pet industry experience (grooming, doggy daycare, retail, vet, clinic, etc.)
- Comfortable multitasking in a high energy and sometimes noisy environment
- Confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperments
- Tech savvy and quick to learn booking software
- Friendly, professional, and organized under pressure
