We are currently looking for an experienced **Front End Manager** to join our Cedar location. Experience in Management is ideal, but what we’re really looking for is someone who wants to be part of a well-established team who takes pride in their work.

The 49th Parallel is a family run business, proudly operating in and around the Cowichan Valley for over 40 years Our growing business is built on the exceptional customer service our staff provide and we are looking to expand our team.

**What you’ll do in a day**
- Be a team leader and who comes to work everyday with a positive attitude ready to coach and motivate our employees.
- Use your friendly and outgoing personality to go above and beyond for our customers and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
- Achieve company targets and departmental initiatives by managing inventory, labor, and merchandise.
- Utilize your knowledge of the 49th standards of quality to plan, order, and process front end products while achieving sales and profit targets.
- Ensure staff are well trained and knowledgeable and the front end is well stocked with beautifully displayed products.
- Oversee the health and safety of our employees and customers by maintaining a neat and tidy work area and ensuring health and safety processes are followed.

**We’d love it if you had**:

- Some customer service management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational abilities
- Able to regularly lift 25 pounds
