Y Experience Coordinator

The Northern Alberta YMCA is looking for an experienced customer service coordinator to provide leadership to the YMCA Experience team. The YMCA Experience Coordinator at YMCA of Northern Alberta supports the YMCA Experience Supervisor by providing effective supervision, coaching and support of the YMCA Experience team as it relates to sales initiatives, customer service and program registration to ensure that all members, participants, and guests have a positive experience. This position requires a flexible schedule working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Position Responsibilities
- Lead quality, consistent sales/service delivery to meet established sales and service goals and objectives.
- Promotes and builds strong, long-lasting member relationships.
- Supports processes, systems and initiatives that will promote growth, improve retention and ensure all YMCA experiences are excellent.
- Ensure the safety and security of everyone who participates or visits our Centres.

What You’ll Need for This Job
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales and customer service.
- Supervisory experience is an asset.
- Certifications: Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Works at a fast pace and responds to multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communications skills including verbal/presentation and written communication.
- Experience working with database systems such as Sales Force or registration software, MS office suite, and demonstrated ability to learn new systems and programs
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector and where Child Intervention/Enhanced Security check
- Must obtain employer specific child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date
- Certifications: Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector check.
- Must obtain employer specific WHIMIS and child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date.
