We are looking for a Permanent Full-time, Employer Liaison, Employment Services to work for our Hamilton branch.

**Job Purpose**

The Employer Liaison, Employment Services, plays a pivotal role in developing, strengthening, and maintain long-term relationships with employers. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of our services and eligibility programs administered through Employment Ontario, and effectively communicate how we support the individual needs of job seekers and employers. Thrive in a fast pace and client centric focused environment.

**Key Job Functions**
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our services, eligibility of programs we administer through Employment Ontario.
- Develop and maintain a diversified portfolio of employers that will meet the current and future needs of our client’s occupational goals and barriers.
- Advocate and promote our clients’ individual skill sets to employers, with a focus on individuals from marginalized and underrepresented groups, highlighting the value they bring to an organization.
- Connect our value proposition to the workforce development needs of employers, ensuring a strong match between job seekers and employers.
- Ensure smooth onboarding process of job seekers and employers, including arranging appropriate accommodations to support their needs for sustainable employment.
- Keep current with prevailing labor market conditions and new developments within local and regional labor markets to support workforce development efforts.
- Coordinate employer events, including job fairs and employer engagement events, to facilitate connections between job seekers and employers.
- Responsible to support a caseload of job ready clients with higher barriers into sustainable employment, maximizing the use of financial support available to our clients and employers. Within the guidelines of our program.
- Conduct site visits, virtually or in-person, to assess employer eligibility and ensure compliance with program requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and employer profiles within our system in real-time, documenting all activity and communication.
- Meet all monthly and yearly targets including Financial Support established.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve and exceed performance targets, ensuring a high level of engagement and successful outcomes for job seekers and employers.
- Collaborate with the team to share best practices and innovative approaches for achieving targets and enhancing program effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, labor market conditions, and emerging needs of job seekers and employers to align program activities with current demands.
- Other duties pertaining to the position, as required.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with employers.
- Experience in job development, employer outreach, employment counselling and/or recruitment considered an asset.
- Understanding of labour market information and trends.
- Strong advocacy skills, with the ability to promote the value of job seekers from diverse backgrounds to employers.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work and co-operate in a team.
- Ability to meet monthly and yearly targets, working collaboratively with all departments.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing priorities and business demands.
- Ability to empathize with job seekers and provide support and guidance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to build rapport and trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
