We are seeking experienced Early Learning Childcare Educator to support our childcare center's. You will be working as part of our amazing team, implementing exciting and engaging daily activities that are based on the Flight Curriculum Framework. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Learning Childcare Educator who wants to make a difference in the lives of children, their families and our community

**Location**: One of these 3 Locations : Westmount location-11130-131 St, Edmonton Northwest - 12823-116 Ave or Inglewood School - 11515 -127 Street

**Hours**: Monday - Friday - 3 hour shifts -** 7:00 am - 10:00 am**

**Start date**: As soon as possible

The Early Learning Childcare Educator (ECE) works as part of a team to care for children in a positive, compassionate, and respectful manner.

Enhance the curriculum and the children's learning in many ways, in both planned and spontaneous play, by implementing activities and following the interest of the children

Program supervision in an environment that meets the children’s mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs.

Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children.

Maintain respectful communication with team members and parents regarding the children and the program.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Level 3 Childcare Staff Qualification Certification
- Experience in working with children Kindergarten to 12 years of age is required.
- Ability to work in a high energy environment with the ability to change priorities as required.
- Cleared Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Clearance - (dated within 6 months or more recent to hire date)
- Valid Standard Childcare First Aid and CPR required
- Alberta Child Intervention Check - (dated within 6 months or more recent to hire date)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Organizational skills with ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Experience with HiMama software an asset
- Knowledge of Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework is an asset.

**Salary**:
$19.14 - $27.62 (depending on qualifications and experience)

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years Daycare: experience preferably in out-of-school
- Alberta Childcare Certification - Level 3 Preferred
- Work Location: In person at Edmonton Northwest Daycare Centre (12823 116th Ave., NW Edmonton)
