**Full Job Description**

We are seeking experienced **Early Learning Childcare Educators-Relief** to support our childcare center's. You will be working as part of our amazing team, implementing exciting and engaging daily activities that are based on the Flight Curriculum Framework. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Learning Childcare Educator who wants to make a difference in the lives of children, their families and our community

**Location**: One of these 3 Locations : Westmount location-11130-131 St, Edmonton Northwest - 12823-116 Ave or Inglewood School - 11515 -127 Street

**Job Type**:Temporary
- Relief Position.

**Salary & Benefits**: This position will pay between $17.50 and $19.00 per hour. Salary depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits as outlined below are offered following successful completion of 90 day probationary period.

**Hours**:Available to work between 3-6 hour shift. Monday to Friday, between 7am and 6pm

**Start date**:as soon as possible

**Position Summary**:

- The Early Learning Childcare Educator (ECE) works as part of a team to care for children in a positive, compassionate, and respectful manner.
- Enhance the curriculum and the children's learning in many ways, in both planned and spontaneous play, by implementing activities and following the interest of the children between 12 months and 5 years.
- Program supervision in an environment that meets the children’s mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children.
- Maintain respectful communication with team members and parents regarding the children and the program.

**Qualifications**:At a minimum, applicants are required to have:

- Level 3 Childcare Staff Qualification Certification.
- Level 2 will be considered based on years of experience
- Experience in working with children 1 to 5 years is required.
- Ability to work in a high energy environment with the ability to change priorities as required.
- Cleared Police Record Check
- Standard Childcare First Aid and CPR required
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Organizational skills with ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Experience with HiMama software an asset
- Knowledge of Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework is an asset.
