**About the Role**

TechElectric Automation is seeking a part-time **Technical Sales Manager** to identify, track, and close new business opportunities in industrial automation. You’ll work with clients and internal teams to grow revenue, build strong relationships, and support long-term customer success.

Note: This is a part-time position only. There is no full-time role open at this time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Secure profitable sales opportunities through strategic outreach and relationship building
- Identify and pursue new service opportunities across target regions
- Work closely with project managers to **submit and track quotes/proposals**:

- Present company capabilities to clients and respond to RFQs/Tenders
- Conduct regular site visits and client meetings
- Maintain and grow key account relationships
- Monitor budgets and ensure sales contracts align with company policies
- Provide weekly/monthly sales activity reports
- Identify revenue opportunities and address risks or negative variances
- Collaborate with management and technicians to improve service offerings
- Deliver insights on market trends and customer needs
- Support successful project delivery with technicians and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency

**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of sales or technical experience
- Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is an asset, not required
- **Electricians and electrical technicians with strong industrial automation experience are encouraged to apply**:

- Solid knowledge of electrical controls, automation, and service operations
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Technically minded with solid business acumen
- Computer proficiency and data reporting skills
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Willing to travel within the GTA, Hamilton, Niagara, and Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo areas

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
