We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented **Psychometrist/Mental Health Assistant** to join our team in assisting psychological and psychiatric assessments for claimants involved in motor vehicle accidents. This role requires an individual with strong diagnostic skills, exceptional report writing abilities, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively with a supervising psychologist/psychiatrist.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in conducting psychological assessments in collaboration with a psychologist/psychiatrist for individuals involved in motor vehicle accidents.
- Administer a range of psychological tests and assessment protocols.
- Perform diagnostic interviews and compile results with attention to DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
- Identify inconsistencies or gaps in documentation and reported complaints with exceptional attention to detail.
- Assist with transcription of comprehensive and articulate psychological reports based on assessment findings.
- Consult with the supervising psychologist/psychiatrist to review and organize assessment results.
- Utilize Microsoft Office to prepare, organize, and manage assessment documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the assessment process.
**Qualifications**:
- **Master’s degree** in psychology, social work, or a related field OR **Bachelor’s degree** **with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience** conducting motor vehicle accident assessments.
- Proven psychological/psychiatric assessment experience.
- Strong diagnostic interview skills and knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria to assist in diagnoses formulation by the psychologist.
- Exceptional proficiency in assisting with transcription of detailed, professional reports.
- Decisive, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of motor vehicle accident assessments and treatment is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
**Work Conditions**:
- **Part-time role** with flexibility for remote work during report completion
