**Job Description**:
What You’ll Be Doing

CIBC Digital’s UX Research Team is working to continually ensure CIBC’s digital client experiences meet our clients’ needs. As a UX Researcher, you’ll use a variety of user research and testing techniques to deliver insights and recommendation driving the design and development process of CIBC’s digital products, and help new ideas the team is working on.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview

How You’ll Succeed
- User Research and Testing - As a Sr. UX Researcher, you will work with stakeholders to identify research needs, and outline comprehensive and efficient UXR plans to deliver insights. You’ll perform generative and evaluative user research using a variety of methods (e.g., one-on-one interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, etc.).
- Analysis and Interpretation - You’ll help plan, lead, conduct and analyze UX Research studies, surveys, and perform secondary research to provide the teams with insights and recommendations.
- Empathy Building - You’ll interpret research findings, present and explain them in a way that’s easy to understand and help build empathy.
- Mentorship and UXR democratization - You will work with new and junior members of the team to help them onboard, and grow as UX Research professionals. You will help democratize UX Research and empower our partners to take the full benefit of the research work, methodology and tools
- Administration and Team work - You’ll help maintain project status dashboards and maintain a repository of research to help build a body of knowledge that contributes to a user-centered design process.
