Regional Climate Modelling

This is an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate who has a quantitative interest in Climate and Earth System Ccience and would like to spend time working with a world-class team of scientists actively studying how climate change will impact Canada’s water resources within the Canada1Water initiative.
**Requisite experience**:
Strong programming skills and quantitative analytical thinking are essential for this position. An interest in scientific analysis and communication/publication is also beneficial.
The work will primarily involve assisting senior researchers in running regional climate models using an existing software framework, modifying and extending the software framework, conditioning climate model data for downstream impact modelling, and analyzing model output and climate change impacts.
**Education requirements**:
This position would be ideally suited for a MSc or PhD student or recent graduate with a background in atmospheric science, earth system science, applied physics, or applied math.
