Ridge Meadows Soccer Club (RMSC) is a community-driven organization serving over 3,000 members, ranging in age from 5 to 55+. We offer inclusive and developmentally appropriate soccer programming to youth and adult players of all skill levels in the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows areas.

**Position Overview**
Reporting to the Sporting Director, the Performance Director (PD) is responsible for the strategic leadership, oversight, and execution of programming within the RMSC Performance Player Pathway. This includes the BCSPL Program, Division one Teams, and RMSC Academy (U7-U13).
**Key Responsibilities**
**Performance Programming**
- Lead and manage RMSC Performance Programming:
- BCSPL (U14-U18)
- Division 1 Teams (U14-U18)
- RMSC Academy (U7-U13)
- Ensure alignment with Canada Soccer and Player Development Program (PDP) Standards
- Implementation of yearly Training and Game models
- Coordinate regular documentation, reporting, and attendance at CSA and BC Soccer meetings (in-person and virtual)
- Collaborate with the Sporting Director to evaluate and evolve the performance programming and player pathway
**Player Management**
- Lead player in-seasonal assessment process, and development tracking.
- Manage and coordinate training and gameday playing up opportunities.
- Create and lead education sessions to support player development
**Coach Development & Mentorship**
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of coaches
- Provide feedback and support to Team and Staff Coaches
- Support coaches with the implementation of RMSC YTP, Game models, and seasonal plans
- Serve as the primary contact for coaches’ engagement and support
**Academy Oversight (U7-U13)**
- Direct the curriculum, scheduling, and coaching for Academy programs
- Supervise Academy Manager(s) and coordinate staffing, registration, and schedule
- Oversee program logistics, equipment needs, and player progression
**Sport Science Integration**
- Design and implement the RMSC Sport Science Plan
- Lead workshops and educational sessions for coaches, players, and parents
- Develop injury prevention strategies and monitoring systems
- Integrate wellness initiatives and performance tracking tools
- Introduce new programming and indoor training initiatives
**Core Competencies**
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum Canada Soccer A Licence (or internationally recognized equivalent)
- 3-5 years of experience in a performance soccer environment
- Demonstrated expertise with BC Community Soccer structures and Provincial, National, and professional Club environments
- Strong background in implementing sport science and long-term player development models
**Key Skills**
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and video editing software
- Skilled in digital and in-person presentation delivery
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Professional, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach
