Technology Business Unit Manager

**The Technology Business Unit Manager is a senior-level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include managing external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Unit Group Manager may coordinate and manage activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs and ad hoc projects as necessary.**: **TTS Technology is global organization of 10,000+ resources and a budget of $1Bn. The Business Unit Manager will have strategic and operational responsibilities including operational budgets, policies, and procedures and management of staff. This position functions as the liaison between the organization and other internal and external businesses both within and outside of ICG Technology, including frequent interaction with key stakeholders in other ICG businesses, HR, Finance, EO&T and CTI.**: **The role is responsible for the general management and administration for TTS Technology, including**: **Provide day-2-day financial management, headcount control, policy compliance incl 3rd party governance, group communication, performance measurement and executive team co-ordination.** **Oversee and drive the management process through MBR/ QBR, KPI-KRI reviews, employee communications leveraging Collaborate, Townhalls.** **Facilitate strategy creation and coordinate strategic initiatives including the Productivity book of work**: **Key responsibilities**: - ** Establish best in class financial management, headcount control, policy compliance, group communication, performance measurement and executive team co-ordination**: - ** Build strong and effective relationships with key business office partners in TTS Product, Technology, and ICG Technology organisation**: - ** Work and collaborate with TTS Technology Business Managers to build common and effective processes across the group**: - ** Work with Third Party Officers and BAOs to ensure proper vendor management and vendor governance disciplines**: - ** Oversee effective management of the group real estate and location strategy**: - ** Create and maintain strong team effectiveness strategies focused on core skill building and performance management**: - ** Collaborate with peer region heads to ensure appropriate levels of commonality are achieved and best practice is shared and adopted**: - ** Train and develop the team to the point of credible succession alternatives**: - ** Demonstrates a high level of leadership standard, in line with Citi’s Leadership Standards**: - ** Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams**: - ** Responsible for all cross product technology, regulatory and administrative duties in conjunction with the team, including financial, staffing, quality, risk and regulatory matters**: - ** Execute vendor management activities, including ensuring legal requirements are met and coordinating contract negotiation and processing**: - ** Provide oversight of the Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and other reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy**: - ** Ensure headcount is accurate, real estate is inventoried and planned, and onboarding and termination of resources are managed**: - ** Work with Technology leadership to support the Business People strategy as well as the Communication strategy for the department**: **Qualifications**: - ** 10+ years of experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders**: - ** Management experience, preferably in a financial services role**: - ** Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology**: - ** Demonstrated ability to manage a team**: - ** Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments**: - ** Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication**: **Education**: - ** Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience**: - ** Master's degree preferred**: **Citi Canada is an equal opportunity employer.
