Shipper Sales Representative

As a Shipper Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling transportation services to prospective customers. Working individually but within a team you will be reaching out to both customers and potential customers and growing your own business portfolio. This will be a mixture of inside and outside sales as you will be responsible for maintaining communication and providing the best service for each of your customers. With this, each person will have exposure and ultimately control of their own marketing, sales strategy, and pricing for each customer.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Sell and negotiate Werner Brokerage services, securing business to meet individual, team, and
Company revenue / margin goals
- Prospect and cultivate new sales leads to establish business
- Provide quotes for current and prospective customers utilizing analytical and logistic planning
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective c ustomers
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Sales, negotiation or communication experience preferred

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
