We are looking for a highly skilled **VMWare and Networking Specialist** to join our growing IT team. The individual will be responsible for maintaining the company's private cloud VMWare infrastructure and network operations, ensuring high levels of data quality and availability, and working on innovative projects to enhance our technical capabilities. Each day we build on our values: - **Identify and solve problems, permanently**: - ** First seek to understand**: - ** Growth mindset**: - ** Walk the talk** **_Qualifications:_** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, DEC in Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years' experience in network administration and VMWare management. - Minimum of 3+ years' experience in network support/projects with WatchGuard. - Solid understanding of VMWare environments, including vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, etc. - Strong knowledge of networking principles, including routing, switching, subnetting, etc., and experience with networking hardware. - Relevant certifications in WatchGuard FW are required. - Proficiency in firewall management and network security. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. - Experience with automation tools and scripting. - Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex technical information to non-technical colleagues. - Relevant certifications (like VCP, CCNA, CCNP) are a plus. **_Key responsabilities:_** - Design, install, manage, and maintain our VMWare virtual environments and network systems. - Ensure systems are running optimally, perform regular maintenance and updates, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. - Plan and implement system automation as required for better efficiency. - Monitor network performance and optimize for maximum speed and availability. - Establish and maintain security policies, including firewalls, protocols, and VPN configurations. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all IT processes, systems, and configurations. - Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation. - Collaborate with team members and other departments to identify and address technology needs. **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site gym - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Vision care **Salary**: Based on Experience If you or someone you know might be interested in this incredible career opportunity, send us your updated CV.
