**Position: Maintenance worker - Oiler**

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
*Must be available for weekend shifts*

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Completing lubrication routes
- Monitor oil stock levels, changing oil, and flushing the oil systems
- Performing regular oil/grease system inspection and reporting any issues
- Cleaning equipment such as hydraulic systems
- Performing temperature inspection of equipment
- Basic troubleshooting and assisting millwrights
- Operate forklift as required
- Effectively perform lock out procedures and follow company policies and procedures
- Other duties assigned by the Supervisor

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- The ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in order to work days including an weekends
- Strong mechanical skills
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot
- Good interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills
- Sawmill experience and any lubrication certifications are considered as an asset
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Genuine interest in a preventative maintenance in general and a lubrication program in particular
- Result-oriented with an enthusiasm to learn
- Completion of grade 12, a GED or a minimum of 2 years related work experience, or equivalent training
- Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory. Must supply, maintain, and wear their own CSA approved steel toe boots. Hearing protection, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves and dust masks are supplied by the company

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Mechanical: 2 years (preferred)
