**Title**: Procurement Specialist
**Salary**: $64,972 - $81,215 - $89,337 per year (pay range explained below)
**Number**: 2 vacancies
**Contract**: 1 vacancy - Permanent / 1 vacancy - Term (until Feb 24, 2026)
**Hours**: Full-time - 37.5 hours (core hours
- 9:00 am
- 3:00 pm)
**Location**: Alberni Office (Metro Vancouver) - location on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations - Hybrid is an option (Minimum 50% in the offices - in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, roles will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after Summer 2026.
**About the role**
As the Procurement Specialist, you will partner with internal and external clients to determine the procurement method. You will coordinate the vendor selection process, maintaining a pre-qualified list of vendors by goods and services category, negotiate with suppliers for price, prepare legal documents and oversee full life cycle agreements. You will also solicit and analyze quotations, perform periodic audits of transactions to ensure compliance, and prepare reports.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be
- Education
- A degree, plus 4 to 6 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, materials management and contract administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Completion of a Supply Chain Management Professional designation would be an asset
Knowledge
- Excellent planning, interpersonal skills and collaboration skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities effectively and problem solve
- Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft, MS office - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
Competencies
- Ability to analyze information and data to develop correspondence, presentations and other material
- Ability to arrange meetings, engagement sessions, conferences

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
