About the RoleWe are seeking an Operations Procurement Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in supporting procurement activities across a diverse real estate portfolio. This position focuses on vendor management, sourcing execution, acquisition support, and policy compliance. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure efficient, transparent, and compliant procurement operations.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong negotiation skills, and enjoy building vendor relationships, this role is for youWhat You’ll DoManage and onboard vendors, ensuring strong relationships and performance.Execute sourcing activities, including RFQs and negotiations for mid-range procurement events.Support acquisitions with quotes, budgets, and contract coordination.Deliver training on procurement processes and enforce policy compliance.Assist with local contract management, including analysis, drafting, and scheduling agreements.What We’re Looking For3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management (real estate, facilities, or construction preferred).Strong understanding of RFQ processes and eSourcing tools.Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities across regional teams.Familiarity with procurement compliance and contract coordination.What’s in it for you?At CAPREIT, we reward all permanent full-time employees:Competitive Base Salary starting betwen $47,000 - $57,000Paid VacationFlexible Health, Dental & Vision Benefits Employee Savings PlanEmployee & Family Assistance PlanLearning & Professional DevelopmentYour opportunity to build an exciting career
