As a member of our high-performing manufacturing team, the Afternoon Shift Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for supporting the shop floor, completing quality checks, calibration of metrology instruments, and constant improvement of the QMS system.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform First-Off, In-Process, and Final Inspections on parts and components for compliance with drawings, routings, and procedural requirements.
- Generate accurate dimensional inspection reports.
- Initiate NCR reports for parts that do not meet drawing and/or requirements.
- Help identify areas of improvement for the Quality Management System.
- Assist machinists and operators with gauge set-ups.
- Identify, design, and implement proactive quality assurance systems.
- Calibration of metrology instruments

**Qualifications**:

- Experience on Zeiss CMM using Zeiss Calypso Software is an asset, with the ability to make and set up new programs
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Capable of inspecting machined parts using all forms of metrology instruments
- Working knowledge of G D&T
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
