Product Approval Specialist

As a Product Approval Specialist with our Drafting & Design Solutions team you will be expected to;
**Duties**:
- Use problem solving and research skills combined with product and manufacturing knowledge to provide solutions for custom product requests
- Process custom approval requests
- Use product and manufacturing knowledge and research skills to suggest alternative options for our customers that fit within Loewen capabilities
- Work with internal partners to determine viability and alternatives for customer requests
- Negotiate acceptable alternatives with customer/sales representative
- Communicate approval conclusions in full detail to all applicable parties
- Provide written and oral communication to manufacturing, internal and external sales representatives, Dealers, and occasionally to Architects, Engineers and contractors
**Requirements**:
- Positive work experience in current position at Loewen
- Loewen product and process knowledge
- Acute attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills (in English)
- Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytic skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel
- Certificate - Drafting/CAD skills
- 2-4 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in residential or commercial construction methodologies
