**In your role, you will**:
The team in which you will work researches, develops, implements and supports innovative technologies used to improve the manufacturing processes and processes used at the St-Laurent Manufacturing Center in order to reduce manufacturing costs, reduce cycle times, eliminate non
- compliance and all sources of waste.
- Build an internal team dedicated to technological research and innovation;
- Establish and take responsibility for the creation of a factory innovation council;
- Prepare and present progress statuses during governance meetings with the factory management committee;
- Influence internal mechanisms by systematically integrating a vision and a culture of innovation;
- Establish solid partnerships with various internal or external entities in order to maintain close proximity to innovation in the manufacturing field;
- Be on the lookout for market developments and technological trends in order to be able to offer new products that will ensure the competitiveness and growth of the company;
- Prepare the implementation and standardization structure of the innovation approach across Bombardier sites;
- Ensure the increase in capacity and versatility of the team according to the progress of the technological approach;
- Be guardian and responsible for the deliverables of your direct team;
- Supervise team members by ensuring performance and individual development;
- Evaluate, plan, monitor and respond to expenses associated with the department.
- You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar position including a minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role;
- You have recognized knowledge in manufacturing capabilities in the aeronautical field;
- You have a passion for the manufacturing industry & particularly business aircraft;
- You have a great ability to manage technical initiatives & adopt a strategic vision in the selection of solutions;
- You have strong influencing skills and great autonomy to work with a minimum of supervision;
- You have excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing in French and English.
