This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager
**Your Role: Own the Challenge**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute technical assignments. Each day, you will deliver technical solutions as per agreed timeline and standards using established solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the development of technical expertise solutions and services.

The work model for the role is: onsite. The shift will be either 12 PM to 8 PM or 3 PM to 12 AM (to be determined).

This role is contributing to the switchboards product engineering and manufacturing support in Montreal area. Main stakeholders are project engineering, R&D, procurement, production and quality control.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Determining offered solutions and product versions, including the extent of standard and non-standard solution scope to meet customer requirements.
- Working independently using solid competency in technologies, tools, and methods to solve critical issues.
- Supporting technical reviews and participating in core technical meetings.
- Coordinating technical support for the resolution of technical issues.

**What it takes to run what runs the world**
- You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with Product Life Cycle Management, 3D CAD and Materials Requirements Planning tools and the electrification market.
- Ability to demonstrate mechanical analytical and engineering ability. Has 1-3 years experience in mechanical engineering and production support in manufacturing environment.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of 3D CAD design and materials manufacturing**.**:

- You are passionate about troubleshooting and problem solving, knowledge sharing and proactive communication. You are captivated by continues improvements and product quality. You are innovative around engineering and production effectiveness.
- Degree in mechanical design and drafting. Have a demonstrated track record in manufacturing support. Extensive knowledge of materials manufacturing quality. Proven experience of problem solving and positive outcome in manufacturing environment.
- You are at ease communicating in French and English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
