**_ Human Resources Administrator Job Description_**
**Overall Responsibility**:
Responsible for providing a consistently high standard of administrative support to the human resources and support staff. Other responsibilities will include providing assistance in the organization of the overall workload and ensure the effective use of labour and resources to assist in the smooth running of the department.
**Key Accountabilities**:
1. Process Group Benefit Programs' enrollment and changes.
2. Participate in the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes for the Woodstock plant.
3. Maintain employee personnel files and update information in the HRIS system.
4. Monitor and update postings on the company bulletin boards.
5. Process employment verifications
6. Oversee the administration of the employee uniform program.
7. Responsible for orders for Office, kitchen supplies
8. Maintain confidentiality and trust through positive employee relations.
9. Provide timely responses to the needs and questions of employees.
10. Assist in creating a culture of fair treatment and positive employee relations.
11. Assist with the claims disability management system (LTD, STD, WSIB).
12. Part of payroll administration
13. Manage vacation administration of all AMTB Woodstock employees.
14. Remain current with legislative requirements & compliance.
15. Assist in scheduling and maintaining HR training records.
16 Update Job Profiles as required.
17. Plan and organize social functions
18. Administration and maintenance of Attendee list, Swiped On, Chrome River, Extend Communications, related policy documents attached
19. Assist third parties in obtaining work visas as required.
20. Assist with budget preparation and maintain CMS (ERP system)
21. Ensure that all staff are adhering the Core Values of AMTB.
22. Ensure front desk is attended to by ensuring visitors are greeted, signed in and informed about AMTB visitor protocol.
23. Responsible for the administration of Immigration policy, and liaison between employees and lawyers
24. Administration of Extended Leave policy - granting approval, checking eligibility, controlling dates
Fulfill the Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities identified in the Canadian HSE Management Standards and OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Management Systems.
