Gas Fitter

**$5000 Signing Bonus**

As a Gas Service Technician you will complete jobs requested by our customers and solve their issues through diagnostic troubleshooting, doing routine maintenance on their existing systems and installing new equipment. Your goal will be to provide excellent customer service, ensuring the systems you are working on are safe and operating properly as well as completing your work in a timely and effective manner. Your success is dependent on the quality of work you complete and the satisfaction of our customers’ needs.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot oil and propane-fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and oil tanks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairs.
- Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely.
- Complete appropriate daily paperwork for each service call.
- Maintain daily and yearly inventory.
- Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliable.
- Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity.
- Rotational on call evenings and weekends.

**Your Skills**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, with a customer service focus
- Ability to install and service var Gious types of heating equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines

**Your Experience**:

- Experience in HVAC with Gas or Dual licensing, or G1 or G2, Gas Technician/Gas Fitter license is required, Red Seal or Journeyman designations considered advantageous.
- Dual licensing in both Oil and Gas is an asset.
- Knowledge of wiring, plumbing and some air conditioning is necessary
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
