**PORTFOLIO MANAGER, Successful Investor Wealth Management Inc.**

We are an established wealth management and investment publishing firm with 25+ years’ experience in subscription marketing and independent portfolio management with assets under management verging on $1 billion and growing. Successful Investor Wealth Management (‘SIWM’) is currently seeking a Portfolio Manager who specializes in **Client** **Relationship Management and Portfolio Management Administrative Support**.

We are transforming our business and experiencing significant growth and as a result SIWM is looking for an investment professional with strong relationship management skills who will provide high quality service to clients and contribute to the continued growth of the organization.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Daily monitoring of cash movements and transactions for client portfolios.
- Organize and build trade lists, rebalance of client portfolios when required.
- Consistent follow-up in relation to client transactions, to ensure proper processing and minimization of errors.
- Provide investment research support to Portfolio Managers.
- Develop a relationship of trust with existing and future clients of SIWM, especially our Pooled Fund clients, and be a point of contact.
- Manage, maintain, and enhance SIWM’s relationships with its clients.
- Thoroughly assess each client’s unique circumstances, goals, objectives, risk tolerances and constraint.
- Effectively communicate SIWM’s investment philosophy and strategy as well as understanding and articulating our investment thesis on a sector and individual security basis.
- Coordinate and oversee the administrative aspects of the client relationship and ensure high quality and accuracy of information.
- Responsible for Know Your Client and suitability issues.
- Conduct all activities within a best-in-class culture of compliance and service.
- Seek opportunities to cross-sell or upsell to existing clients.
- Grow the business by identifying new sales and business development opportunities.
- Monitor and assess the activities of our competitors to proactively satisfy and retain our clients.
- Provide excellent service to maintain a positive reputation for the business.
- Resolve any client complaints promptly and professionally.
- Participate in and contribute to SIWM’s overall growth and strategic vision as well as building the firm brand.
- Accomplish department objectives.

**REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications, Experience & Skills)**
- CFA charter holder required.
- University Degree.
- 3 years’ portfolio management experience with at least 2 years in a client facing role.
- Experience with suitability determinations for clients and “know-your-product” analysis.
- Registered with Securities Commissions as a Portfolio Manager (“Advising Representative”) an asset.
- Previous exposure to and experience with Compliance filings and requirements (nice to have).
- Familiar with FATCA, FINTRAC, and CASL (nice to have).
- Ability to build, foster and maintain positive professional relationships.
- Devoted to delivering high-quality customer service.
- A team player with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency and high level of professionalism.
- Able to meet targets and handle a high-pressure environment.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Excellent influencing skills.
- Must possess initiative, be proactive and able to set priorities.
