. Tipalti is hiring a Public Relations Specialist to add to our growing Communications and PR team. We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative and talented self-starter with a history of executing successful media relations outreach programs and storyline development in a fast-paced environment. This individual contributor is responsible for developing, organizing and executing external communications strategies. They will engage with Tipalti's multiple external PR and communications agencies, leading the development of media pitches, contributed content, press releases and speaking and award proposals. They will also be highly involved in Tipalti's customer marketing activities. **Key Responsibilities** - Maintain a laser-focus on industry trends and competitive news to inform the development of compelling and timely media pitches, byline articles and executive commentary - Lead the development of Tipalti's product, partner, customer and event press releases - Support the awards and speaking program to secure top-tier opportunities for Tipalti and its key executives - Develop strong relationships with reporters and editors at trade and top-tier media on behalf of Tipalti - Maintain content and overall responsibility for the newsroom section of Tipalti's website and update and maintain its Wikipedia page - Work directly with executives to build out their individual communications goals and strategies - Partner with the customer marketing team to identify customers to leverage as part of the PR program; help promote the value of working with PR across the sales team and to Tipalti customers directly **Qualifications and Background** - 2 - 4 years of communications and PR experience. Expertise in financial technology, either in-house or with an agency a plus - Excellent critical thinking, writing, communications, problem solving, technical and analytical skills - Strong organizational skills and a proven track record of managing everything from strategy to details as well as an ability to multitask and prioritize different requests - Crisis communication experience preferred - Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or equivalent LI-ESP #Hybrid Companies like Twitch, Twitter, GoDaddy, and Roblox entrust Tipalti to scale their business rapidly and dramatically reduce finance friction.
