**What you’ll be doing**:
As the Account Manager you will market and sell SPP products and services to new and existing customers and manage enterprise-level contracted client relationships. Your customers are some of the most exciting and recognized brands in Canada and you are responsible for customer satisfaction and for the delivery of commitments made by the company. Much of your day is spent communicating with customer to solve their challenges and interacting with SPP’s suppliers and internal resources to build the right solutions for our customers. While you are responsible for achieving team sales and profit goals, you are also designing and implementing strategic business plans and reviews for your customers, and always looking for ways to deepen your relationships and grow the sales within your Enterprise Accounts.

Daily Activities:

- Strategically plans for key Enterprise Accounts through management of the sales process: understanding customer strategies and decision-making processes, forecasting new business, managing the sales funnel/following through in order to gain more business and maintain customer relationships
- Key point of contact for Enterprise Accounts
- Works with Strategic Account Manager, Team Sales Rep(s) and Special-Order Team
- Develops and maintains the client plan for all contracted clients assigned to them by the Strategic Account Manager
- Measures and shares success against the client plan through the fiscal year
- Ensures customers have complete satisfaction with their Staples experience

What you bring to the table

You need to like people, be outgoing, proactive, have a flair for shopping and/or merchandising, and you need to be tightly organized. No two days are ever the same in this role, so you need to be flexible, keen to learning, and have a problem-solving mentality. Our number one focus is our customer, and because we sell together as a team, you need to be a strong team player who likes to collaborate, is respectful of the opinions of others, and is not afraid to bring new ideas to the table. You need to have a drive to succeed for your customers

**Qualifications**:
**What’s needed - Basic Qualifications**
- 3+ years sales and/or customer service experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentations skills with a flair for sales
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Highly proficient business written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to discern message content

**What’s needed - Basic Qualifications (preferred)**
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Experience in the Promotional Merchandise Industry preferred.
- Industry experience (ie: understanding of decoration processes, quoting, and SAGE) preferred
- CSP designation or CPSA graduate is preferred
- University or college diploma in sales or business or equivalent working experience within a B2B sales environment is preferred
