**The Golden Opportunity**

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Communications Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team The Communications Specialist will be responsible for writing, proofing and executing business communications that support WFW’s culture, growth and brand. They will have a good grasp of general communication best practices with a passion for employee and internal communication.

Working across divisions, they will draft compelling content, assist in delivering communication strategies, and support change, HR and other organizational initiatives. They will also help the marketing and events team on digital and event campaigns, and work with our team of graphic designers to ensure a high standard of communication and marketing material is consistently delivered.

**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Writing, proofing and editing copy as per business requirements
- Writing, coordinating and curating content for WFW internal newsletters and channels
- Helping build out internal communications engagement opportunities
- Supporting external communications including newsletters, website copy and press releases
- Assisting in scripting and producing video content when needed
- Building excellent relationships across all business units to ensure communication is audience-focused, on brand and intentional
- Coordinating external and internal communications projects and maintaining the communications content calendar
- Other duties as required

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Ideally an undergraduate degree or diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Journalism.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a copy writer or communications co-ordinator working within a fast-paced marketing team or PR/communications agency
- Proven copy writing experience developing a wide variety of collateral materials, digital content, and communications to meet key internal, marketing, sales and business objectives
- Superior written and spoken communication skills with an excellent grasp of grammar
- Curious, comfortable asking “Why?” and getting to the heart of the communications requirement, including understanding our different audiences
- Excellent project management, eye for detail and extremely well organized
- Confident, able to easily talk to people and build relationships
- Ability to work quickly and independently and meet strict deadlines while juggling priorities in a fast-paced entrepreneurial organization
- This position requires a strong writer who is as comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get the work done
