We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Infrastructure division and build innovative projects in the transit and transportation sectors, such as roads, highways/freeways, bridges, interchanges, LRTs, BRTs, and airports. **About The Role**:
Reporting to the Utilities Manager, Construction Manager and/or the Senior Project Manager, the Utilities Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance to more senior staff (Project Managers, Superintendents) in the coordination, scheduling, contract management and reporting on a transit project with multiple heavy rail lines and stake holders in Toronto.
**As a Utilities Coordinator at Graham you will**:
- Perform a variety of duties including but not limited to updating schedules, assessing risk, managing contract guidelines, monitoring labour material and equipment activities, coordinating with stakeholders and administrative duties on the project
- Coordinating and managing utility locates activities across multiple projects
- Assist with pricing of utilities scopes of work
- Attend project meetings, record meeting minutes, present updates, and document action items and other pertinent project deliverables/decisions
- Ensure that project site and company assets are secure and maintain a safe and respectful work environment at all times
- Monitor project change management process, identify change events, submit change notices, track changes and optional changes in project scope, and present to the Project Manager when required
- Provide timely progress reports to the Utilities Manager and Project staff
- Assist with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions and change orders
- Obtain and provide written documentation for all clarifications and instructions
- Assist with procuring sub-contractors for scopes of work involving electrical, mechanical, comminication, track systems and other utilities
- Maintain safety records and take responsibility for the development, implementation, and execution of the Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP)
- Monitor and measure HSE goals and expectations using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Review the Field Surveillance Reports (FSR) and initiate NCRs based on analysis and severity of findings
**Qualifications/experience**:
- Existing experience in Utilities Coordination on a heavy rail project
- 4+ years of project coordinating experience
- Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field experience is required
- Experience working on a rail project and managing track access/schedules would be an asset
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Proficient using scheduling and project management software
