**Responsibilities**:

- Work in compliance with laws and regulations, attend and complete all required health and safety training, report all accidents, and take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
- Add value to the customer’s buying experience by making recommendations.
- Works with co-workers and vendors to support customers’ needs.
- Keep current with trends in a constantly changing industry.
- Providing superior customer service - this includes greeting customers, providing information, answering phones and completing sales in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process payments made with cash, debit, and credit.
- Search for availability within other locations.
- Maintain areas in accordance with housekeeping standards, ensuring supplies are well-organized and replenished as required.
- repare and return merchandise to the appropriate areas. Execute all other secondary tasks as assigned on the daily task list. Utilize all equipment properly and report any deficiencies to the appropriate leader as soon as possible.
- Special orders completed and kept record on arrival for customers and signed off on accordingly.
- Provide accurate quotes, meeting customers’ expectations of service, product and price, where feasible in various categories.
- As required, assist in taking inventory counts to ensure minimizing errors and obsolescence.
- Load and unload materials.
- Assist customers with advice, information, and/or help in gathering and loading orders.
- Be familiar with the locations of all inventory and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Be familiar with the safe operation and maintenance of equipment, including a forklift, lumber cart, pallet jack, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Valid Driver License and clean abstract
- Experience in the Commercial Supply Industry considered an Asset.
- Proficient in Office 365.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- High level of problem solving and technical ability.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
