**Sales Associate & Cashier**

Our signature meat includes:

- 100% Grass-Fed Beef, Grass-Fed lamb from certified Organic farms, Poultry both Certified Organic and Pasture raised from Mennonite and Amish farmers, Wild Caught Fish as well as our pure Deli meat (NO Nitrate, filler or gluten).
- Our meat products are all FREE of Pesticides, Herbicides, GMO and Antibiotics
- We also carry over 1000 select grocery items, dairy products, fresh produce and a wide selection of Mennonite and Amish preserves, all to facilitate one-stop shopping for our many valued repeat customers.

As the Sales Associate & Cashier, you will sell BlossomPure products and communicate effectively with customers before and after sales, ensuring an effective customer experience and that customer needs are met.

You will acquire and build on rewarding relationships with customers and employees. You will be a problem solver, team player, and support customers and employees to ensure a smooth sales process. You will report directly to the Store Manager.

You personally like to eat well and this fuels your passion for ethical food and you want to be part of reaching new horizons in the industry. You will spot opportunities to leverage the value of our equitable farm-to-plate sourcing and help serve our new range of healthy, sustainable and delicious food products. You will connect with others using shining interpersonal skills.

**Job Summary**

Sell BlossomPure products and communicate effectively with customers before and after sales, ensuring an effective customer experience and that customer needs are met.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs, whether in-store or over the phone.
- Manage and retain key customer accounts, ensuring a superior customer experience.
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges using POS, and monitor checkout stations to ensure they have adequate cash and are staffed appropriately.
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain products based on customer needs and desires.
- Follow store opening procedures, including produce rotations and display.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
- Follow workplace health and safety protocols.
- Note down special orders (meat or other products) and ensure orders are fulfilled and customers notified when prepared.
- Conduct after-sales calls as per company procedures, collecting feedback and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Escalate issues immediately to direct supervisor.
- Support team members to collectively achieve company goals and objectives.
- Recognize opportunities to improve the customers experience, especially in challenging situations.
- Stock inventory on shelves for effective visibility, display, and product experience.

**Education & Experience**
- Minimum 1-3 year experience (In North America) in retail / food and beverage industry. Experience in organic food industry is an asset.
- Secondary or equivalent

**Additional Requirements**
- Must pass a criminal background check, education/employment verification
- Available to work as needed
