Residential: Site Security Supervisor

**Overview**: Reporting to the members of the RBG Security Operations Team, Site Supervisor is the designated company representative at site level. Responsible for ensuring accountability with members of the security team and to provide lead direction to ensure all directives and/or tasks are followed accordingly stemming from on site management and/or RBG Security Inc.

**Position Prerequisites**:

- Must possess a valid Ontario Security License
- Completion of Secondary School education
- Minimum 6 mos. - 1 year experience in a previous supervisor role.
- Proven ability to resolve disputes and complaints in a manner that supports a noteworthy level of customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability of reliability, dependability, discernment, and mediation

**Responsibilities and Duties not limited to the following**:

- Complete license checks to ensure that members of the security team are in compliance
- Complete all required reports and related documentation in a timely fashion.
- Ability to manage telephone inquires and provide appropriate responses and/or escalate where necessary
- Must be able conduct on-site training of new hires and initiate disciplinary processes where appropriate.
- Operates and utilizes on site security systems and equipment i.e., CCTV, radios, and access control software.
- Must be able to conduct staff evaluations and make recommendations in relation performance when requested and necessary.
- Maintain individual appearance while on site, must be in full uniform and groomed appropriately.
- Liaise with external contractor companies approved by on-site Property Management and their respective contractors.
- Work in partnership with Property Management, inhouse and contract staff to sustain a protected and secure environment as per the Occupier’s Liability Act
- Maintain discretion on confidential matters presented on site and/or provided by the RBG Security Operations Team through documented and/or verbal means.
- Liaise with members of the municipalities’ emergency services i.e., police, fire, ambulance and be able to recount and provide direction to requested areas permitted by Property Management.
- Maintain and manage site processes, procedures, and routines
- Must be able be on-call and/or able to modify/extend shift times to fulfill impromptu or changes to site coverage not limited to vacations, book off(s) and/or leaves of absence.
- Attend and participate in compulsory training courses in relation to position as directed by RBG Security Operations Team
- Complies with all related health and safety practices as it relates to assignment within the Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, and other regulations.

**Working Conditions**
- Must be comfortable walking and standing; patrols necessary including walking up and down the stairs.
- Building is known for its high parcel volume, must be comfortable in handling and ensuring storage for an assortment of packages.
