Position Objective:
As a Full-Time shipper/receiver you demonstrate a positive and engaged attitude when dealing with fellow employees and management. You will manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies. You will be responsible for collaborating and communicating with logistics, customer support, management and the bookkeepers to ensure all items are processed and counted properly to ensure the continuous supply of goods to the Marks customers in Abbotsford.

What you’ll do:

- Manage the shipment, and receipt of all products, materials and supplies
- Tracks, traces, and updates to the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Execution of daily store operations, tasks and department maintenance - backroom cleaning, organization and preparation
- Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves and accomplishments, scanning inventory and counting accurately in order to ensure accurate inventory
- Engauge with corporate, vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Provide additional back-up support for shipping and receiving department
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills
- Display excellent organizational skills

Job Title: Shipper/Receiver - Full-Time

Department: Back of House Operations

**Requirements**:
Full availability to work days, evenings and weekend shifts, to meet the demands of the business
- Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
- Receiving, stocking the floor, organizing product on the back room shelves
- Showing good written and verbal communication skills
- Displaying a strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Ability to lift 60 lbs boxes consistently through the day
- Knowledge of the proper use of a stairway system
- Must be able to work both independently and within a team

- High school education (post-secondary education is an asset)
- High level of organizational skills
- 2 years’ experience in a retail environment preferred
- Proven success in past roles
- Computer literacy

**Salary**: $39,000.00-$41,600.00 per year
