This position's primary responsibility is all shipping and receiving duties, which includes making pallets for outbound components. Other responsibilities would include cleaning parts, paint touch ups, boxing parts/cabs, unloading and loading trucks, organizing parts and product to the proper location. Inventory control requires all inventory being received to be itemized, catalogued, and put away accurately. From time to time you will be responsible to drive parts to freight depots. The Shipper/Receiver will also be responsible for supporting the logistics department with other duties as needed. This position is full-time.

Work hours are between Mon - Fri 7:00am - 3:30 pm.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ship all product
- Receive all product
- Inventory Control
- Build pallets and crates in house
- Move product between shops
- Maintain Clean working area
- Cylinders rebuild program
- General support to other employees

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Min 2 years freight experience
- Knowledge of trucking and logistics and working knowledge of courier shipping systems is required
- Ability to work with power tools
- Highschool diploma
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects repetitively
- Ability to operate material handling equipment competently
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to work outside regardless of the weather
- Forklift certification would be an asset

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT**

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is exposed to moderate to loud noise environments and will be required to operate various heavy equipment, such as forklifts.
