Maple Ridge, Canada RST Instruments Ltd. Full time

As our Shipper/Receiver, you will join a team of dedicated individuals within our manufacturing operation. You will work closely with team members to ensure all warehouse/inventory activities are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. You are knowledgeable in Process Improvement and Inventory Control. Your work habits emphasize safety for yourself and your co-workers. You will also provide support to other roles within the warehouse as required. This position may also require overtime as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receipt, reconciliation, and put-away of inbound inventory/shipments.
- Picklist coordination, packaging - boxing and crating (may require the building of wooden crates for large or heavy products) and shipment of outbound orders/inventory.
- Logging and tracking all shipments / receipts in the company system.
- Ensuring all processes are adhered to; documenting new processes when required.
- Working closely with Operations to ensure related service and customer goals and project timelines are met.
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients (internal/external).
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-shift inspections.
- Keeps the warehouse and production work areas organized and tidy and implement general safety and housekeeping practices.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
- High school diploma/GED required.
- 1 year of experience related experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk continuously and perform physical tasks.
- Experience in forklift, pallet jack and overhead crane operation (valid certification preferred but training can be provided).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Skills in basic computer software, such as MS Word, Excel, etc.
- Basic math, writing and oral communication abilities.
- Able to work occasional weekends, holidays and evenings as required.
