We’re seeking an organized and analytical individual to help improve the customer experience and increase the conversion rate of traffic on our eCommerce website. You’re a team player who will work directly with the marketing, development, creative, product and customer service teams to develop a feature roadmap with the aim of boosting conversion, user acquisition and retention. You understand that eCommerce is part art and part science. You have an eye for the aesthetic but understand how to leverage data to make informed decisions for the website. **What you’ll do**: - Analyze opportunities, lead development of, and maintain eCommerce feature roadmap in line with business priorities and customer insights - Own the daily e-commerce operations, including site content optimization and merchandising to ensure a seamless customer experience and help increase customer conversion and repeat purchases - Optimize site usability to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience by conducting frequent audits, visual merchandising, and analysis on top search terms - Conduct SEO audits and page speed insights analysis of key pages, identifying key opportunities, developing plans to action, and organizing the team to execute - Review and approve product launches and removals, web features, promotional changes, and any visual assets for eCommerce to ensure consistent messaging and functionality across the site - Create, manage, and deliver data-driven site merchandising strategies to increase overall product discovery by creating customer-centric mobile first merchandising decisions - Own product set-up and product catalogues and ensure that content, imagery, promotions, and data are accurate and compelling on site - Use data and insights to recommend eCommerce and conversion rate optimizations, including ratings and reviews, merchandising, promotions, and availability. - Oversee management of team of developers and UX/UI designers, including optimizing projects based on skillset and their areas of development as well as prioritization of projects to the business, monitoring progress and completion of tasks, and reviewing output to ensure accuracy - Collaborate cross-functionally including with marketing, sales, creative, product, and customer service teams to improve user interface and customer experience, and to ensure all business requirements are met on website - Scope and problem solve new features and initiatives to understand critical details and path of execution for developers - Be primary point of contact with Shopify and other key vendors to stay up-to-date on critical features and launches - Increase user satisfaction and drive engagement through continuous site enhancements. For A/B testing, determine testing criteria and work with developers to deploy tests, understanding the technical impact of testing on site performance and minimizing any negative impact. Communicate testing results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders to drive iterative improvements. - Develop bi-weekly reports on performance to share across other departments - Execute ongoing competitive analysis and benchmarking as well as recommended strategies and tactics to improve the online experience **Who you are**: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or the equivalent experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities - 3-5 years of eCommerce experience - Hands-on experience with CMS (i.e., Shopify, Salesforce, etc.), Google Analytics, Hotjar, SEO - Experience building and adjusting a development roadmap - Experience with product page and landing page optimization for improved conversion - Excellent analytical skills with strong ability to make data-driven decisions - Excellent project management, technical, problem-solving, presentation, written and verbal communication skills - Detail oriented, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple projects in fast paced work environment with changing priorities and strict deadlines - Strong communication and collaboration skills. You have experience managing projects that have multiple stakeholders, and keeping them informed and aligned. You help "connect the dots" between technical and non-technical teams, remain open to ideas from other leads, and speak up whenever you anticipate roadblocks - Must be able to work in a collaborative and results-oriented team environment - People management experience considered an asset - Background in experimentation software setting up, executing, monitoring and reporting on A/B tests considered an asset - Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a drive to always improve - Attention to detail: Patience, laser-focus, and an ability to look at your own work with an objective eye
