**FACILITATOR / EMPLOYER LIAISON**

- Full-time, Contract, In Office role in Mississauga, ON

**Must have**:

- BA Degree or College Diploma in employment counselling, career development, psychology, community/social services or relevant education an asset
- 2 or more years of work experience in related field such as recruitment, employment agency, job development, psychology, education, human resources, or social services an asset
- Superior networking and communication skills
- Sense of urgency/motivated
- Very organized
- Time Management
- Problem Solving
- Strong documentation/tracking and administrative skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, LinkedIn and Teams
- Valid Ontario ‘G’ class driver’s license with access to vehicle preferred

**Main Responsibilities**

**Facilitation**
- Deliver job search techniques, inclusive of resume development, job search strategies, networking, interviewing and job retention, as well as life skill workshops
- Build trust and develop relationships with clients
- Create resumes and cover letters targeted to client objectives
- Prepare clients for interviews
- Read reports and understanding details of clients’ needs
- Create progress reports and document activities and outcomes
- Complete eligibility screening for programs
- Conduct skills assessments
- Working with interpreters when required

**Job Development, Placement and Incentives**
- Create strategic plans for finding and securing employment / placement opportunities
- Network and develop relationships with employers and find specific suitable job/placement opportunities
- Educate employers on organizations’ services/programs and negotiate contracts, placements and accommodations
- Create placement plans and conduct site visits to assess client’s performance and determine needs for accommodation or training adjustments
- Complete and process incentive forms accurately
- Create and process job leads to internal team
- Coordinate job fairs
- Follow up with employers and track progress of clients in placements
- Maintain ongoing communication and continuously foster employer relationships
- Deliver high quality customer service and complete tasks on-time

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
