**Role**

The Web Development Manager will be responsible to manage the overall development life cycle of the web projects. He will lead the creation and optimization of development processes to bring efficiencies to the team. He will also inspire and mentor the team to build the reusable code for future use and on relevant technologies.

**Responsibilities**
- Mentor other team members on relevant technologies
- Ensure projects are delivered following the strategy, on time, and within budget
- Oversee the estimation, prioritization, and management of the tasks - this includes heavy emphasis on quoting website projects and other client requested updates
- Work in collaboration with other team members & stakeholders to deliver results
- Provide accurate estimations for development efforts
- Monitor website performance, watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems and rectify the issues
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Use organized and logical approach to find solutions to complex problems
- Have good documentation habits
- Have an experience with workflow management tools (Jira, GitHub Workflow, TFS)
- Stay up to date with industry developments
- Able to plan and execute initiatives

**Requirements**:

- Should have experience in people management, technical team management preferably
- Experience in working closely with product and management teams
- 5+ Years of experience in Managing web development team
- Experience with.Net Core, Node JS, AngularJS is must.
- Expertise in architecting high performing websites
- Interested in working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with UI platforms and libraries along with keen understanding of user experience
- Knowledge of Google analytics or other tracking platforms
- Experience in version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile methodology
- Knowledge of in task/bug tracking using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
- Expertise in impeccable code style - clarity, architecture, suitability to task, documentation
- Proven track record of delivering software on commitments

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday (summer schedule June/July/August)

**Location**: The position is in hybrid mode and located in Ville St-Laurent.
