Clearwater Seafoods’ Human Resources Department requires a HR Intern. This position is located in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
**Reporting Structure**:
- This individual will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources
**Major Responsibilities**:
- Assist with the recruitment process by reviewing resumes, posting job ads, managing the careers inbox and scheduling interviews.
- Prepare new hire paperwork and assist with onboarding activities, such as setting up new employee accounts.
- Help maintain employee files and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Assist with employee communications including communications, employee handbooks, training manuals etc.
- Support HR team members with various projects and initiatives, this includes providing administrative, reporting, and technical support.
- Assist with HR-related events, such as career fairs, company events or company-sponsored activities.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the HR Manager or HR team members.

**Qualifications**
- Recent graduate with a Business diploma
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- ADP user knowledge is an asset.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Strong problem solving skills.
**Working Conditions**:

- Work Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week
