**The Role**:
We want you to bring your skills and experience with you, to join us as our newest **Junior** **IT Systems Administrator.**

As the **Junior** **IT Systems Administrator** in our growing Infrastructure team, you will play a critical role within FYidoctors supporting the continued success of our rapidly expanding company. You'll be supporting our operations team in setting up and maintain infrastructure for our brick and mortar practices. You certainly won't be bored as you help manage changes in the environment and dealing with typical third-level escalation troubleshooting work.

This opportunity is a Full-Time, permanent position working 40 hours per week out of the Vancouver area. Occasionally you may be required to provide after-hours on-call support on a rotational basis and be available off-hours to work on any emergency server infrastructure problems, maintenance, or project activities.

**What Will You Be Doing?**
- Providing third-level operational support
- Assisting with the rollout of new practice locations and providing care and coordination of patient medical information
- Assessing infrastructure problems and developing solutions to improve the current environment, mitigating risk
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnosing our server infrastructure for activity and connectivity
- Performing installations, troubleshooting and documentation activities
- Working independently on operational tasks and collaboratively with peers to meet objectives and complete projects
- Maintaining professional designations and staying up-to-date with the latest advances in information technology techniques and tools
- Develop and maintain best practices, standards, and procedures across the infrastructure and platforms
- A technology diploma, degree or recent practical certifications and at least 1 year of experience as an IT Systems Administrator or Sr Helpdesk support
- High competency with Active Directory, Radius, DHCP, Group Policy, DNS and other Infrastructure technologies
- Strong virtualization skills (using VMWare, Azure VM or Hyper-V)
- Instinctive troubleshooting skills with an ability to tenaciously solve problems, including network issues up the OSI model
- Knowledge of networking, current SaaS and PaaS technologies, rationalizing cloud strategies, exposure to the medical field with PIPEDA and HIPAA or a focus on cybersecurity would all be considered advantageous
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
