**YOUR ROLE**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all adjustments for US are filed, recorded and refunds and claims are final.
- Support Service Provider to Process Drawbacks (including preparing the export data based, import data base)
- Manage and validate document retention archives
- Work with brokers and carriers to resolve day-to-day operational issues
- Work with the finance team to Investigate and document duty variances between the duty paid and accrued for US
- Prepare the Database to share with Customs Broker.
- Coordinate the cross border (CA to US) shipments between Carrier, Transport and Customs
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Provide backup support to Canadian Customs operations as required.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Customs.
- Knowledge of the CA and US Tariff and familiar with Import documents such as 7501’s.
- College or bachelor’s degree in a supply chain or customs trade related program an asset.
- CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) certification an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel (Medium as must, advanced an asset), Word, Power Point
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
- Excellent organization and time management skills, as well as adaptable to change
- Strong initiative and problem-solving ability
- Flexible and able to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to work independently and a strong team player with the eagerness to learn
