- **Saturday: 06:00- 18:00**:

- **Sunday: 06:00- 18:00**:

- **Monday: 07:00- 17:00**

**About the Role**

This position will be dedicated to our local division and will be reporting to the Operations Manager. This Dispatcher is a pivotal member of the operations team and must be able to meet deadlines and communicate clearly with members of our fleet and other departments as necessary. The ability to use TMW with accuracy and proficiency will be of paramount importance to the success of this function.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Plans and schedules team members to ensure proper staffing across all shifts, ensuring alignment with volumes and service expectations.
- Maintain clear communication through phone systems while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Scheduling shipping requirements per booking instructions, ensuring all information is relayed accurately
- Collaborate with the Operations team as needed to ensure inbound and outbound freight is coordinated for on-time delivery
- Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise during transit
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records
- Review driver performance and participate in driver reviews as needed
- Ensure compliance with legislation, safety regulations and company policies
- Liaison as needed with internal teams for communication with customers
- Meet performance deadlines and adhere to all client shipping requirements
- Ability to be flexible and work extended hours as required
- Work in compliance with the provisions of Occupational Health and Safety
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Position Requirements**:

- 2-5 years’ experience in dispatching
- 2- 5 years’ experience in transportation/ logistics industry
- Advanced knowledge of TMW
- Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy
- Awareness of Highway traffic act including hours of service, TDG, weight restrictions etc.
