This is a **part-time**position with the potential of becomeing a full-time position. Day time, weekday hours only. No weekends

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Minimum **2 years’ experience** as a receptionist (veterinary experience is an asset but not required)
- Ability to manage a **multi-line phone system** and direct calls appropriately
- **Excellent** **customer service and communication skills**:

- Ability to thrive in a **fast-paced environment**:

- Friendly, compassionate, and detail-oriented

- the first friendly voice on the phone and the first smile clients see when they walk in. You help set the tone for the entire visit, ensuring every client feels welcome and cared for. Every team memeber is vital at Coulee Vet

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Answering phones promptly and professionally
- Scheduling appointments and surgeries
- Greeting and checking in clients
- Weighing patients and assisting with admissions
- Processing payments and pet insurance claims
- Confirming appointments and sending reminders
- Keeping the reception area and retail shelves tidy and stocked
- Cleaning exam rooms between patients
- Faxing, filing, and managing patient records
- Providing basic nutritional advice to clients (_aditional training available_)
- Taking patient photos and assisting with new client and transfer forms
